The Senate’s version of the phase four economic stimulus package could propose around $34 billion to help farmers and ranchers. According to North Dakota Senator John Hoeven, the Senate isn’t approaching an increase in the Commodity Credit Corporation in this proposal because the score from the Congressional Budget Office would be too high.
