Geoff Currier – One of the stories we’ve been following over the last few weeks is the difficulty our Western grain producers are having getting their grain to market. It’s a railway problem, and our Agriculture Correspondent, Harry Siemens, joins us today to give us a bit of an update. Harry, yesterday there was a meeting in Ottawa involving CN, CP, the Canadian Canola Growers, Canadian Federation of Agriculture. All those people were involved in this meeting. What came of it?
Well, first of all, it was an official meeting with the Standing Committee on Agriculture and Agri-Food. They’re holding an emergency hearing for the transportation, or the lack thereof, between here and the West Coast.
